HK$6,800.00
For those who enjoy a hand-crafted Cuban cigar to accompany their hand-crafted single malt Scotch whisky, we have a recommendation. The perfect match for The Glenrothes 1973 Vintage Malt is a Bolivar Inmensas. At the Whisky & Cigar Challenge in 2005, hosted in Havana by Habanos SA and Whisky Magazine, the combination of The Glenrothes 1973 Vintage Malt with the Bolivar Inmensas was highly recommended by the judges. But of course you don't have to be a cigar smoker to enjoy the 1973. You don't even have to be a Whisky drinker as Jonathan Ray writing for Britain's The Telegraph Newspaper discovered: "Never having been a fan of whisky...I have a 'eureka' moment over coffee when I try some 1973 Glenrothes. It is soft and creamy and utterly bewitching and this, if nothing else, converts me." You just have to search hard to find a bottle: the 1973 ran out in 2005.
